Kenneth G. Gordon 70, of Middletown, PA passed away, Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at his home.
Born in Deodate, PA on September 6, 1946, he was the son of the late David W. and Miriam J. Gordon.
He was a retired service man at Highspire Homes. He was a member of the Chambers Hill United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and served in Germany. He was also a member of Callerlab and a Life member of the Pennsylvania Square & Round Dance Federation.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Doris M. Gordon; one son Leon G. Gordon and his wife (Elizabeth) of Palmyra, PA; one step-son David E. Willow and wife (Christine) of Mechanicsburg, PA and two daughters, Kimberly K. Heckman of Mapleton Depot, PA and Kendra D. Rush, wife of (William Rush) of McVeytown, PA. and was preceded in death by a brother, Richard B. Gordon and one grandson, David M. Kearney. He is also survived by one sister, Kathy L. Gordon of Elizabethtown, PA; three granddaughters, Julie L. (Gordon) Morton, Tesa N. Rush, and Tara N. Rush; two grandsons, Justin D. Willow and Nevada C. Gordon; two step-grandchildren, Joshua M. and Jessica E. Meyers and two great-granddaughters, Desiree W. Kearney and Rosalina L. Morton.
There will be a funeral service on Tuesday, April , 11, 2017 at 11:00 Am at the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Middletown with the Rev. Britt Strohecker officiating. Viewing will be from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home.
Interment with military honors will be in Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
