Gertrude C. Paduch (Berner)
Gertrude C. Paduch, 88, formerly of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Neshaminy Manor, Warrington PA.
She was born on July 28, 1930 in Heckscherville, PA and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Sarah (Delaney) Berner.
Gertrude was a former secretary for the PA Department of State and was a member of Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Middletown. She enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, and gardening, but her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother and great grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, George J. Paduch and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Gail A. Reinard (Michael Fuoti) of Harrisburg, PA; two grandchildren, Alison Gilg and her husband Jan and Brett Waple; two great-grandchildren, Emilie and Vivienne Gilg and a sister, Helen Rushanan.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 260 E. Main St. Middletown PA 17057 with the Rev. Ted Keating officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the funeral services at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 2:30 PM.
