Obituary for Donald J. Welsh Sr.

Donald (Donnie)J. Welsh Sr., 82, formerly of Rheems, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Magnolias of Lancaster, PA.
He was born on September 22, 1934 of in Royalton, PA and was the son of the late Lester and Edna (Fischel) Welsh.
He was a life member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, golfing and bowling. He was a Jack of All Trades and was a former employee of the former Herr & Sacco Inc. He was a graduate of the Middletown High School, class of 1952
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his loving wife, N.Patricia Welsh, a son, Richard K. Welsh and a sister, Dorothy Webb.
Donald is survived by his sons, Donald J. Welsh Jr., of Bainbridge, Tim A. Welsh and his wife, Debra of Columbia; a step-daughter, Leigh Anne Lawson of KS; a step-son, Kyle Lawson of SC; fifteen grandchildren and forty great-grandchildren.
A tribute to Donald's life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Middletown with Chaplain Keith Searfoss officiating. Viewing will be from 10:00 AM until the time of services, Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Falmouth Cemetery.
