Obituary for Arthur L. Carlson

Arthur L. Carlson
Arthur L. Carlson, 76, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice residence, Harrisburg PA.
He was born on October 15, 1940 in Royalton, PA and was the son of the late Irvin F. and Florence (Houser) Carlson.
Arthur was a member of the Faith Outreach Church, Middletown and enjoyed woodworking, landscaping, gardening and was an avid animal lover. He was also a former employee of Shull's Tree Service, Middletown.
In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his brother, John Quaca.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Eileen R. Carlson; two brothers, Edward Quaca and his wife Sharon of Mechanicsburg and Dennis Carlson and his wife Judy of Reading; brother in law, William Stouffel; brother in law Mitchell Kreisler; sister in law, Sue Tilberry; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Faith Outreach Church, 100 Brown St. #22, Middletown PA with pastor Jack Sipe Sr. Officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until the time of services Sunday at the church.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family has entrusted the care of the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Middletown to handle the funeral arrangements.
