Obituary for Frederick E. McKee

Frederick E. McKee
Frederick E. McKee, 79, of Bainbridge, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 8, 2017 in the Harrisburg Hospital. He was the loving husband of Rosalie (Bergess) McKee.
Fred was born on February 16th, 1938 in Lebanon, PA, the son of the late Aaron A. and Bessie (Tarbet) McKee. He was a US Air Force Veteran and a retired Security Guard for Pinkerton Security, a former Middletown Police Officer and Dauphin County Corrections Officer. Fred was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State fan. He loved bluegrass music and NASCAR especially Jeff Gordon. Fred’s greatest joy of all was his love for his grandchildren and his great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Debra (Bruce) Hershey, of Bainbridge, Kimberly Harman, of Delaware and Denise McKee, of Harrisburg, his step-son, John Leach, Jr. and wife, Brenda, of Columbia, two brothers, James and Gerald McKee, two sisters, Gloria Cover and Fawn McKee, Grandchildren, Heather L. Fox, Tiffany M. Fox and companion, Shay Gabner and James E. Hershey and great grandchildren, Haydon White, Isaac, Quinten and Obadiah Zeigler, Tianna and Trinity Fox and Marcus and Silvio Shanabrough.
Fred’s three Great Grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jr., Halley and Colton Zeigler and his two sisters, Dawn Aloin and Geraldine McKee preceded him in death.
A Graveside Service will be held for family and friends at a later date. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
