The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothy Rodriguez can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: To the Rodriguez family: You lost a loved one; I lost a best friend. Dot loved her friends and family with an unconditional love; that's a more refined level of love, one very few people can ever master...

God had further plans for her once her earthly work was done: "God looked around His garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the Earth and saw her tired face. He put his arms around her and lifted her to rest. God's garden must be beautiful; He only takes the best. He knew that she was suffering, he knew she was in pain. He knew she would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills hard to climb. So, he closed her weary eyelids, and whispered, 'Peace be thine.' It broke our hearts to lose her, but she did not go alone. Part of us went with her the day God called her home."

Condolence: Dot was special to so many people over her many years. Now she is set free from suffering to enjoy the company of those who went before her. Her faith was strong and guaranteed her a place beyond here. I pray for her awakening there. I pray for comfort for those left behind.
